Want a Car in Noida? First Show Proof of Parking Space

Car buying in Noida will soon become a tad difficult as a buyer might have to produce no objection certificate of the land lord for registration. This will be done to solve the parking problem in the city. This means if a person is unable to show parking space, he may not be able to register his car with the regional transport office (RTO).

Zee News reported that RTO may soon issue a notification regarding his. The residents of Noida will also have to share details of cars in the family and where will they park them.

The Noida Authority is trying to solve the parking problem in the city. Unauthorised parking in the city results in traffic snarls. Early this month, the authority said it would bring a new parking police, reported the Hindustan Times.

It said that it will select agencies that will run parking lots.

“At present the authority has allowed parking on roadsides on 41 locations. These contracts will be over by the end of November. We will give new 60 parking lot contracts to new agencies through an e-tender in October. Our objective is to take steps to reduce traffic congestion,” Sandip Chandra, senior project engineer at the Noida authority, told Hindustan Times.

“We have prepared the parking fee policy and submitted it to Noida authority chief executive officer for final approval. We will release the detailed parking fee applicable for four-wheelers and two wheelers once it is approved by the CEO,” Chandra added.

Noida Authority CEO on Wednesday inspected illegal parking in the city.
